I believe that the camera magnifies my superpowers. My clients share how comfortable and open they feel when we work together, and how my images "reveal the best, maybe favorite part of themselves." I take great pride in this, and in my ability to elevate the mood of the subject as well as the people on set. After all, a camera also captures energy along with light.
I'm grateful to have collaborated with some of the most recognizable companies in the world, including Apple, Shell, Toyota, Acura, Infiniti, PlayStation, and GoPro, on projects that require thoughtfulness, authenticity, play, integrity, improvisation, and expert execution.
You can find my images on the cover of Big Magazine, in the Smithsonian's Air & Space Magazine, GoPro's Professional Guide to Filmmaking, Numero, Flash Art, ArtForum, and "911 Love“ a book about the history of the Porsche 911.
Commercially, my recent campaign for Miss Me Jeans, featuring Bella Thorne, resulted in a 400% increase in ad-buy, including full pages in Elle and Cosmopolitan, and the inside cover of Teen Vogue. The music video I directed for Jem has has been viewed over 5,000,000 times.
My most recent exhibit was entitled "Portraits of The Earth" and opened in Venice, CA.. I continue to direct short films on motoring and am in the middle of filming an observational documentary about Israeli tech guru Bruno Guez.
As a child, I escaped with my family to Paris from Iran during the Iranian Revolution and then moved to Los Angeles, where I am currently based. I try to bring the temporariness of our existence to my images with the goal of creating feelings of intimacy and appreciation.
I travel internationally to shoot and balance my work by swimming and running with the locals.
